RRB Group D recruitment is being conducted under CEN 09/2025 for 22,195 Level-1 vacancies. The CBT was conducted during August 2026, with the revised examination schedule extending through 25 August 2026.

The provisional answer key and candidate response sheets were released on 7 September 2026. Candidates should follow their respective regional RRB website for further result, PET and recruitment-stage updates.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Class 10 / Matriculation or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the applicable Railway authority.
🎂
Age Limit
18–33 years as on 1 January 2026. Applicable age relaxation is provided to eligible reserved categories as per Government rules.
🇮🇳
Nationality
Eligibility includes Indian citizens and other categories of nationals specified in the official CEN.
🏥
Medical Standards
Candidates must satisfy the prescribed medical standards applicable to the post allotted.

Marking Scheme: The CBT contains 100 questions for 100 marks. Candidates receive one mark for each correct answer and 1/3 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. The examination duration is 90 minutes, subject to applicable provisions for eligible candidates.

🏃 RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test must meet the prescribed physical requirements. The PET requirements differ for male and female candidates.

Weight Carrying
Male: Carry 35 kg for 100 metres within 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
Female: Carry 20 kg for 100 metres within 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
Running
Male: Run 1000 metres within 4 minutes 15 seconds in one chance.
Female: Run 1000 metres within 5 minutes 40 seconds in one chance.

Computer Based Test
Objective examination covering Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science and General Awareness.

Physical Efficiency Test
Candidates shortlisted for PET must meet the prescribed running and weight-carrying requirements.

Document Verification
Eligible candidates undergo verification of educational, identity, category and other required documents.

Medical Examination
Candidates must satisfy the medical standards prescribed for the allotted Railway post.
